Alarmt - Accountable Leadership And Results Management Training
An Investment In Your Leaders and Employees.

“If you are in a position of leadership and do not consider equipping, developing and improving your team as a major part of WHY you do what you do, I have a suggestion. Do whatever it takes to change your thought process. You will NEVER be a truly effective leader and create a culture that you are "For" your team. You will be viewed as "Against Them" or "For Yourself". Sorry to be so blunt but Unwilling To Settle is NOT a Fluff Factory.
A layoff or business closing due to poor leadership is blunt also.”
– Greg Gilbert

"What if? What if, as a result of your leadership team attending our full day, Five ALARMT™ course, you saw improvement in one or more of the following items; quality, productivity, attendance, safety, morale or revenue generation? If not ALARMT™, what are you currently providing that could provide this improvement?
Something? Nothing? What if?" - Greg Gilbert

“The dictionary is not the only place where “accountability” comes before “profitability” and “sustainability”.
It occurs in that order every single day in business and life.
The most profitable and sustainable accountability is Personal Accountability.” – Greg Gilbert

“Greg Gilbert is a man on a mission who will help you exceed your expectations.”
- Willie Jolley-CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame Member.
AlarmT > Welcome to Accountable Leadership And Results...
Welcome to Accountable Leadership And Results Management Training.

As a leader, ask yourself this question. By what method is my leadership team improving? If your only answers are "by seniority", "on the job experience" or "osmosis", then it is time to try something else. ALARMT™ is that something else.
"Greg, I need a course that is not smoke and mirrors, touchy-feely, dog and pony, left brain, right brain or personality profiles. I need you to tap into your management and HR experience and develop a course that deals with real life front line leadership examples and leadership principles that produce results." - C. Gowder to Greg Gilbert - ALARMT™ is the product of that request.
Let us begin by asking you three questions:

1. Are you satisfied with your profitability and sustainability which are driven by your results on quality, productivity, attendance, safety and revenue generation?

2. If the answer is no (and the answer should always be no or you are settling), do you have a disciplinary, coaching, counseling, performance improvement program in place? (Most companies do but we can help if you don't.)

3. Here is the key to whether ALARMT™ can help. How many employees are currently on a documented coaching, counseling, performance improvement plan or level of discipline? If the answer is somewhere between low and zero, someone is not using the tools available to them to improve performance. There could be many reasons for this but we would like to offer ALARMT™ as a solution.
When was the last time you offered any type of personal growth or leadership training to the group of employees that have the most influence over your results? When was the last time you invested in the personal growth of your organization, of yourself?
"If nothing is documented, nothing is improving. If nothing is improving, someone is not doing their job."
- Greg Gilbert

It's that simple. If there are no documented performance improvement plans or employee discussions, you either have excellent results or you are in the business of observing results, not managing results.
The most uncomfortable and unnatural role of a leader is the act of identifying and addressing poor performers. ALARMT™ helps remove the personal emotion and places the focus on results.
"When you have problems in quality, quantity, safety or attendance in your organization, the absolute worst thing you can do is stand still or turn your back on it. You must run (not walk) toward the problem. ALARMT™ will make this uncomfortable, unnatural reaction much easier."
- Greg Gilbert
If we could share a Management/Leadership course with your leadership team that would make it easier to address poor performers, improve their results and increase their level of personal development wouldn't it be worth a small investment? In fact, when the cost of this course may be the only money you spend this year on leadership development, it is a small price to pay to let your team know you are "for them".
Although we have designed a Management/Leadership course that everyone NEEDS, we want to share this information NOW with the companies that WANT it. They can apply these principles and benefit from the improved results immediately.
17, 12, 8, Never, 6, 14, 9, 22.

What are these? These are some of the random answers by previous attendees to this question. "How many years has it been since you have received any type of leadership or personal growth training?" How would your leadership team answer this?
"The only thing worse than training your people and not keeping them is not training your people and keeping them." - Zig Ziglar
Who would benefit from ALARMT™?

Do you have one of these titles?
- Supervisor
- Manager
- Foreman
- Principal
- Assistant Principal

Would you like to improve the results in your group?

A "Yes" to both of these points to a need for ALARMT™!

We guarantee that no leader, regardless of experience, will attend ALARMT™ and leave saying "I knew that". All leaders will benefit from ALARMT™. If not, we will not invoice you for that attendee.
Who Manages Your Results?
How have you equipped them to be successful?
Problem:

Poor results on quality, productivity, safety, attendance or revenue generation. Results that are NOT sustainable.

What is happening now?

Days, weeks and months pass with no major changes. You speak and believe the "BIG LIE" which is, "It will get better when....". You attempt to cut enough expenses to change things. You shift to scarcity mode and never even think of increase.

What should happen:

Something! Do something! Train internally. Train externally. Use ALARMT™. Use someone else. Just do something.
"The absolute best time to increase accountability and manage results was in the past. The second best time to increase accountability and manage results is now. The absolute worst time to increase accountability and manage results is in the future because YOU may not get the chance."-- Greg Gilbert
If I have to do your job, I don't need you!- Bob's Rule # 1
"We receive what we tolerate. Your level of expectation and tolerance coupled with your ability to quickly identify and address poor performers will determine your profitability." -Greg Gilbert
Finally, a leadership course that combines business and personal strategies!
You are paying for results. Can you achieve them without training?
Most employees are good, honest, hard working people that care about the success of the company and meet expectations. There are some however that will need additional training and possibly a documented performance improvement plan. Does your leadership team have the skill sets to address these employees?
The Not So Secret of Profitability and Sustainability;

Profitability and sustainability are achieved by setting high expectations, monitoring results, acknowledging the high performers and addressing low performers with documented performance improvement plans.

We are unaware of any other method.
Of all the positive feedback received from ALARMT™, I am most proud of this comment; "Greg, you can record this course on CD or DVD if you want, but "you" are ALARMT™. This course would not be the same without your delivery." - Charles Gowder - Former General Manager of VTCI. (ALARMT™ was initially created for VTCI.)
"The pursuit of personal growth is optional in life as long as you consider high performance as optional also."
-Greg Gilbert

Incremental Degradation - The natural tendency of things in the universe to move from order to disorder. This WILL occur without training in your organization.

Is this occurring in your organization? In your quality, productivity, safety, or attendance?

Is this occurring in the attitudes of your work force?

Do your high performers feel "overloaded" because you don't address the poor performers?

As an employer or leader do your employees feel you are:

• For Them?
• Against Them?
• For Yourself?

The answer to this question determines the attitude of your work force and has a major influence on the presence of Incremental Degradation in your company.

This is true of all aspects of business and life. Unless you constantly strive to monitor and improve these items all the time, it will deteriorate. Not in leaps and bounds but in small, sometimes unnoticeable amounts. Only after a long period of time will the difference be obvious.

If you are not investing in your employees with training and support, Incremental Degradation will occur.
Above are two visors. I normally share these at the end of my course. One is a SUPERvisor and the other, just a visor. The SUPERvisor makes things happen. The visor "watches things happen" and normally wonders, "What Happened"? We admit, not all visors can be SUPERvisors but at ALARMT™ we would love to eliminate "lack of training" as a reason.

Have you given your "visors" the training to become "SUPERvisors"? I admit this is corny, maybe, but true, definitely!! I guess this is why I have a section in the course where I suggest that we all "lighten up". We are here to produce results but there is no reason we can't have fun doing it!

Look around our web site and see what we offer. Six to seven hours with your leadership team WILL make a difference
There are basically two types of training;

1. Equipping
2. Developing.

Equipping is the process of teaching a person how to do the specifics of their job. Equipping enables each person to accomplish the primary functions of their job. Every company does this. This is the basics.

Developing is training that is less about how to do the specifics of a person's job and more about helping that person become a "better, stronger person, not just an employee." This development would help them lead better at home and in the community, not just on the job. The development portion of training assist them in becoming a much more capable person.

Only "Unmost Companies" will invest in the developing of an employee. ALARMT™ is a combination of equipping and personal development.
Are you one of the over 500,000 monthly Google searches for Management/Leadership Training that believes in the value of continuing education? Do you view training as an investment instead of expense? If so, you ARE at the right place.

What training have you provided to your leadership team?

We at ALARMT™ would like to become THE place for your Leadership Training. We would like to compete for some of your training budget or be one of the reasons you create a training budget.

What food do you provide during your leadership meetings? We're not talking about donuts, cinnamon rolls or the fruit. What about productive personal growth topics? Leadership topics? How about something other than "we have to do this", "we can't do this" or "this is a new policy that starts today". What about something that helps the attendees in their job? We recommend www.LeaderMeetings.com

We want an opportunity to solve problems in your organization either in person or by recorded video.
The Easy Answers: We don't have time or money for training!

The Hard Answer: Revenue Minus Expenses=Profit. Training is an investment. The largest expense for most companies is labor cost.

We would like to offer an opportunity to invest a small amount of money and time back into your organization to improve RESULTS!
"If a man empties his purse into his head, no man can take it away from him. An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest."--Benjamin Franklin
The most important investment you can make is in yourself."--Warren Buffett
"The only thing worse than training your people and not keeping them is not training your people and keeping them." - Zig Ziglar
What is the cost of poor quality, low productivity, a poor safety record, poor sales, high absence and substandard customer service that goes totally unaddressed?

What is the cost of a supervisor under reacting to a high liability situation?

What is the cost of unaddressed poor performance that results in the dismissal and replacement of an employee?

What is the cost of high employee turnover?

What is the cost for your leadership team to NOT have the knowledge and skills to reduce or eliminate these costs?

What is the cost of ignoring performance problems?
We would like to offer ALARMT™ as a solution! We would like to offer hundreds of years of personal and mentors experience.

Remember, HOPE is a city in Southwest Arkansas and something I don't ever want to lose but it is NOT a strategy!

Many just hope their business improves. Do something!

We all know the old saying "If we keep on giving what we have been giving, we will keep on getting what we have been getting". In our opinion, this is no longer true! The bar has been raised! We believe if you GIVE what you did years ago, it equates to LESS today! It's more competitive! Things are not as they were! At ALARMT™, WE want to be WHAT you GIVE to assist you in improving what you GET!! Improved profitability and sustainability!!
