Alarmt - Accountable Leadership And Results Management Training
An Investment In Your Leaders and Employees.

“If you are in a position of leadership and do not consider equipping, developing and improving your team as a major part of WHY you do what you do, I have a suggestion. Do whatever it takes to change your thought process. You will NEVER be a truly effective leader and create a culture that you are "For" your team. You will be viewed as "Against Them" or "For Yourself". Sorry to be so blunt but Unwilling To Settle is NOT a Fluff Factory.
A layoff or business closing due to poor leadership is blunt also.”
– Greg Gilbert

"What if? What if, as a result of your leadership team attending our full day, Five ALARMT™ course, you saw improvement in one or more of the following items; quality, productivity, attendance, safety, morale or revenue generation? If not ALARMT™, what are you currently providing that could provide this improvement?
Something? Nothing? What if?" - Greg Gilbert

“The dictionary is not the only place where “accountability” comes before “profitability” and “sustainability”.
It occurs in that order every single day in business and life.
The most profitable and sustainable accountability is Personal Accountability.” – Greg Gilbert

“Greg Gilbert is a man on a mission who will help you exceed your expectations.”

Accountable Leadership And Results Management Training

The most comprehensive, all encompassing, equipping and personal development one day leadership class you’ve ever attended, or it’s free!
"Treat people as if they were what they ought to be, and you help them become what they are capable of being." - J.W. Von Goethe
How would you like to remove the drama from personnel issues? You can with ALARMT™. This is accomplished by managing results, not people.
What have you done TODAY to make your company more profitable? ALARMT™ provides the initial foundation and LeaderMeetings.com™ provides the ongoing training.

Be honest, what are you providing that promotes improvement in your leadership team?
Why does your company exist? If the answer is anything other than “to be profitable and sustainable”, it is a wrong answer. How it exists is by producing a product or providing a service. ALARMT™ addresses employees that do not contribute to your "Why".
What if we could improve your results?

What if we could reduce your liability?

What if we could remove the DRAMA from personnel issues?

Would that be worth a small investment in your employees?

You may need ALARMT™ and LeaderMeetings.com™ if:

• You are not currently satisfied with your results on quality, quantity, safety, attendance or revenue generation. (And you should never be satisfied, your competitors aren't.)

• You have not taken the proper, defendable steps to allow low performing employees with bad attitudes to pursue employment with your competitors.

• The number of employees (management and non-management) on a documented performance improvement plan is somewhere between low and zero.

• Your only method of employee development is the "Never Changing Rubber Stamped Annual Appraisal".

• Your organization is very familiar with the "We Only Address Performance Once A Year Attitude".

• There is an excessive amount of "drama" involving personnel issues.

• No leadership training has been conducted in the past two years.

It's very simple. You are investing in equipping and developing your leadership team or you're not. You will never have an online class engage and involve your leaders like ALARMT™. Technicians are normally provided tools to perform their assignments, why would you not provide tools that contribute to the success of your leaders?

Before you say you can't afford training, check our rates. You are paying. If just one of the bullet points above exists in your organization, you ARE paying. Not providing leadership training because of cost is like not having a front door on your home and conducting regular family meetings about your high utility expenses.

Obtaining the highest level of performance from an existing workforce WILL have the biggest impact on your bottom line with the least expense. We have also found that "connect and collaborate" works much better than "command and control."

We are ripening or rotting; improving or falling further behind. We cannot stay the same. Our competitors are not.

After interviewing many leaders with different companies, here is a summary of the most common leadership training program of a newly hired or promoted leader. See if this looks familiar.

1. A few hours spent with their immediate leader.

2. A few days working with a peer "showing them the ropes".

3. They begin a career spent experimenting with "trial and error". They are released to "go forth and lead" encountering daily situations they handle correctly, handle incorrectly, request counsel on or ignore. Your profitability is greatly influenced by each of these.

4. A few months later, they work with a new leader and tell them, "Let me show you how it's done". Recognize the cycle?

This was a driving force behind the creation of ALARMT™!

What if in 6-7 hours, you could lay a foundation that would last a career? No matter where a leader is in their journey, they will benefit from ALARMT™. We offer the benefit of hundreds of years of personal and mentors leadership and Human Resources experience. We would love the opportunity to share these with your leadership team.
That one thing? You know, the "Silver Bullet" of leadership?

What one thing could have more of an impact on an organization's results than anything else? We wanted something significant, something worth considering ALARMT™ as your choice for leadership training. It doesn't require a huge expenditure on equipment or machinery. All we must do is improve or correct something that already exists in your organization. It is crippling your chances of improving profitability/sustainability.

What is it? It's a mindset. It's a mindset that allows mediocre or poor performance. It's a mindset that considers being reactive (putting out fires) and never proactive (eliminating the source of the fire) as successfully performing their job. (Oh, and this mindset considers THAT as creating job security.) It's a mindset that believes the myth of seniority or tenure granting immunity from performance standards. It's a mindset that only addresses performance problems once a year. It's a mindset that includes all of the above and is shocked, mad and upset when their position is eliminated or they are replaced. This mindset exists at every level within many organizations.

Consider this. Your leader walks into your office and asks this question, "Can I see what you are doing to improve the results of your organization?" You pull out a binder or access a file on your computer. You share what you have recently done to address performance problems, reward good performance and implement improvements. You update this file regularly as part of "The Daily Step™" program included in ALARMT™. This promotes doing something each day to improve your organization. We provide forms and recommendations for this program. After reviewing your file, your leader is unable to offer any suggestions and is very satisfied with your progress.

What if every leader at every level could pass this test on any given day? Not just once a year at appraisal time? What difference could this make to your profitability/sustainability? Would you feel comfortable buying stock in that company or working there? Would this result in fewer jobs being lost and companies being more successful? We feel the answer to these questions is yes. If leaders are not constantly striving for improvement, they are maintaining. Successful companies were not built in the maintenance mode. At ALARMT™, our goal is to solidify the mindset that I will be held accountable for the success of my organization. It's the first two words of our name, Accountable Leadership.
There are many tools in the toolbox but they are useless if never utilized!

Unless your company is extremely profitable and sustainable, a red or yellow flag should be flying.

Which flag is your leadership team flying?

The District Leader mailed an envelope to all leaders on his team. The envelope contained three flags, one red, one yellow, one green and the sign above. These were the type of flags you would see on a beach to signal High, Medium or Low Hazards. Each leader was requested to mail an envelope back to the District Leader containing only one flag. The flag was to signify the status of the District in the opinion of that leader.

Upon receipt of all envelopes, there were three green flags, three yellow flags and three red flags. All leaders submitting the green flags were sent a letter with a directive to return a written overview of the previous year's financials. Leaders returning the yellow or red flags were invited to a meeting to discuss a financial strategy for the company. Why?

You see, the District had missed their budget by 1.5 million dollars in the previous year. They had lost .25 million in the previous quarter but were making improvements each month. The District Leader felt it would be impossible for a person that considered losing hundreds of thousands of dollars as a favorable condition to contribute to a financial strategy session. The sense of urgency would be missing. He felt their time would be more productive getting a true picture of the company financials. The District Leader considered losing ANY money to be an unfavorable condition.

What is the condition of your business? How did it get there? What flag should truly be flying outside your office? Our country is losing jobs every day. Is your leadership team utilizing the tools available to lead employees, acknowledge high performers and address poor performers? Are they managing results or observing results? Is there an extreme amount of "drama" surrounding personnel issues? Excessive drama occurs when managing people instead of managing results. Unless your company or division is extremely profitable and sustainable, you should have the yellow or red flag out.

We will not be handing out flags in our course but we will ask this question in the first 30 minutes; WHY does your company exist? Over the years some of the answers we have received are; to provide the best telephone service, to provide the best customer service, to provide the best healthcare, to make the best joists, sheetrock, etc., etc. The only acceptable answer to this question is to be profitable and sustainable! THAT is WHY they exist. The other answers state HOW they will get to their WHY. Depending on what you read, an employee must bring 3-5 times their wage or salary in value to a company for it to remain profitable and sustainable. Profitability and sustainability is your Green Flag!
Although most companies NEED to improve, we would like to assist the companies that WANT to improve. Our mission is to help you get or keep the "green flag" flying. Companies that just NEED to improve will continue to fly yellow and red flags until the "Closed To The Public" flag is raised. That is certain to occur with a lack of accountability. Our goal is to provide enough information on our website to urge the "needs better results" over to the "wants better results" category.

There is an alternative to ALARMT™. You can have your leadership team read over 300 personal development and leadership books, listen to hundreds of leadership podcasts, assign them to work with multiple experienced HR and management leaders with thousands of employees and hope that they will experience as many situations as possible OR you can assign them to attend ALARMT™ for one day in their career. That day will be full of different experiences and personal development. It's your choice but remember;

Hope is not a strategy.

"Not providing leadership training because of cost is like not having a front door on your home and conducting regular family meetings about your high utility expenses."

"Personnel issues are like diapers, when there is a stink, something must be changed. It won't go away."

"It is the duty of a leader to make every effort to insure the success of others. Training and development are a major step in fulfilling that duty. If you do not see employee development as an important part of leadership, you can not be a successful leader. In most cases, when employees fail, leaders have failed."

"The improvement and development of an organization is limited by the improvement and development of its leadership. How is your leadership improving and developing?"

"Not being intentional in leadership development is the equivalent of having a written goal of; "I want to have the same level of knowledge at the end of the year that I have now.""

"Why not use your business to build people as people build your business?"

"Recipe for success - 1. Provide all leaders the skills to produce results with others. 2. Hold them accountable.
One without the other will not work. ALARMT™ and LeaderMeetings.com will provide number 1. Number 2 is up to you. Responsibility without accountability does not produce a high percentage of success. This is true at every level."

"There are over 500,000 monthly internet searches for "Management and Leadership Training". Successful companies know the value of equipping and developing their leadership team."

• Achieving excellent results by yourself with the proper training - Easy.

• Achieving excellent results by leading others with the proper training - Difficult but highly possible.

• Achieving excellent results by leading others without initial or ongoing training-Difficult, Unfair and Unrealistic.
