Course Objectives

The material covered in ALARMT™ will:

• Increase the knowledge and confidence level of managers. The enrollment alone will display a company's commitment to the success of their management team.

• Through real life stories show the difference between success and failure. Success normally being a result of management early involvement in addressing performance problems and failure normally being a result of management inactivity.

• Reinforce the principles and practices necessary to produce results with others.

• Address the ability or inability to have "courageous conversation" with low performers. Is there a position/personality mismatch?

• Stress the difference and importance of being paid for results and not hourly.

• Provide the knowledge and foundation to set high but realistic standards for performance.

• Cover the knowledge, language and process to address poor performers in a non-threatening manner, keeping emotions to a minimum with the focus remaining on results.

• Remove the myth that tenure or seniority grants immunity from performance standards and discipline.

• Address the importance in recognizing and provide the knowledge to address high-liability situations.

• Cover the importance of a balance between your work and personal life. Many personal growth success stories will be shared that will benefit your business and personal life.

• See the correlation between the results produced, value added to the company and the sustainability of each position and the company.
